Noir triumphs in France

Surrey Noir was having his last conditions race in France before getting a handicap mark so it was a quick turnaround from his last race. Dropping back in distance to 1500m, on a sharp, tight track, Tim decided to remove the hood and Guillaume Trolley de Prevaux decided against his usual prominent position and had Noir settled back in 5th. Tracking the inside line into the home straight, Noir surged in front and held off his rivals to win by 1/2 length and our first winner with trainer Tim Donworth. Hopefully there is more to come as we now look for a suitable handicap aiming for that extra prize money that is on offer in France.
